Deer Camp October 2007

This is a location painting i did while on vacation this fall. There is a spot in the Sierra Nevada mountains that my family has been going to for over 30 years, and this painting shows the creek we drink out of and the bridge we built to cross it. There is a meadow right behind the creek which allows some amazing sunlight to radiate off the golden grass and illuminate the camp just before the sun hides behind the mountain to the north. This spot is pretty special to me and my family so i thought painting it for others to enjoy would be nice. Fell free to critique and give helpful suggestions. God bless...
